2. The name guild wars tends to lead to the thought of getting some guild mates together and head out to acheive something. The map does not realy allow this as the Zerg can cover the map in less than a min. So no it not guild wars it Zerg wars
3. The issue has never been addressed by simply removing the item did nothing to fix the problem. what about all the door hacks/wall hacks taking place ? still not fixed but when fract’s was found to have the issue it was fixed in zero time – clear that W3 means nothing to the game. Culling still a big problem.
4. No they are not fixing the classes – Necro still pretty dead class in the game. Thief can do more damage in a single hit using the dagger than 99% of 2hd damage can do at the end of a combo. No real cooldowns on their hits against every other class sitting with 5-30 second cooldowns. Any fixes made were purly to the benifit of sPvP.
5. Treadmills may not be the way to go… but no benifit for claiming and upgrading castles/keeps ? yea i can drop some abilities that guild learns over a huge time period rendering them relitivly ineffective. Why can we not get a warning of the tower being attacked with a general number in the area ?
6. refer to 2
7. JP are not any part of W3 in fact they barley make to PvE status they do nothing for W3 except put a drain on troops trying to enter the war. Although this is becoming less of an issue daily as less people are headed out to partake in W3 if JP gets removed then that would prob end W3 completely in a month.
8. Fix them already borderlands offer nothing now and are practically deserted since the removal
9. Still nothing gained so nobody will rely do it.
10. Camps still way too easy to take. I can basically solo a camp fully upgraded. A 5 man team can take a camp in less than 30 sec. Stupid practice and upgradeing the camp should make it worthwhile not just a cash sink for nothing.
11. point still holds fair.
contradictions.
Removing an item is not fixing it. hacks/cracks abuse still play a big part in the game and have not been addressed in months.
I did state in current maps. some paths take almost 5 min to complete while others take 40-50 sec. also the ease that people can get “behind the lines” to take supply camps/jump yaks is way to easy. there should be zones that are inaccesable intil you take out certain keeps/towers
I will attempt this one more time.
2.) Guild Wars is just a name for this game, what your perception of what that should involve in the game itself is just that; yours and only yours. You are entitled to your perception of what the game should be like, but that still does not change what it is.
3.) Removing the Orbs was a quick fix to prevent griefing. Yes culling is still a big problem and they released a patch to the culling system in an attempt to mitigate some of the issues, it in no way was a fix to the problem, it was an attempt to optimize the current system. As I said earlier this is a much more complex issue than you think, and to fix it properly takes time. There are only so many people in ANet that can fix these issues and they have to make decisions to prioritize some things over others. Yes they are working on WvW, is it the top priority right now? I don’t know. But you cannot say that these issues are not being addressed.
4.) Yes they are fixing the classes. They are fixing them incrementally, one small patch at a time. Then they gauge the results and tweak it again. It is getting fixed slowly over time, not in one big change that may break things further.
5.) How is this part of additional incentive to play WvW?
6.) See #2
7.) That is your opinion, I respectfully disagree, and fully agree to disagree about this issue.
8.) See #3. This is a very complex issue involving learning how the hacks on the orbs were implemented and possibly changing how the backend of server/client interaction works. It is a major change that needs time and manpower to fix.
9.) If you want to keep winning in WvW you need supply that is your gain/incentive.
10.) So? take it back with a 5 man team in less than 30 seconds.
11.) Uh, not if you use strategy to nullify that advantage.
Direct Contradictions:
1.) I did not say that it was fixed, I said that the hacking issue was addressed. It is a temporary fix, but would you rather they left the hacking in the game while they are fixing it?
2.) No, just no. What you are proposing will make gameplay stagnate. Getting behind enemy lines is a valid strategy. If you take that out what you get is everyone, and I mean everyone on the front lines. It would be several massive zergs fighting on the front line.
That’s it I am done, I am not responding to you on this issue anymore. If you can’t accept my arguments that’s fine, suffice to say I disagree with you.
