The OP has completely ignored the paper aeroplane industry. As a paper aeroplane engineer I find it completely insensitive that my chosen occupation has not been included.

The paper aeroplane industry is full of entitled brats. There… someone had to say it.
I now personally recant the above and offer an apology for my insensitive statement. I realize now that some of those in the paper aeroplane industry are fully entitled to get whatever they want.
Folks today is April Fools Day and I know its a time to get silly. But I couldn’t help but feel like ANet took things a step too far today. The grainy filter is fine and the old timey music is actually rather charming. What I am of course referring to is the fact that your character runs around pretending they are an airplane. Now normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but I feel like the statement that ANet is making about airplanes is both insensitive and callous. As you know doubt have guessed, I am talking about the lack of jet planes.
You see, your character runs around with their arms stretched at almost perfect 90 degree angles. However, as I am an aviation expert as well as a game designer (and an astronaut) it seems to me that the are only representing biplanes. Clearly, jet planes are being under represented or, dare I say, discriminated against. As an aviation expert who has helped design all jet planes in the world I feel very offended by this. The characters should put their hands at a slight angle behind their back and make sounds similar to BRRRRROOOOOSH and FWHOOOSH in order to simulate the thrusters of a jet plane.
I sincerely hope that ANet will do the right thing by adding jet planes to the game.
Its not necessarily that I’ve stopped playing entirely, I just play a lot less than at launch. Personally, I like the combat style and the way professions are setup in WoW a lot better than in GW2. True, GW2 has much better graphics and has no subscription fee but that doesn’t make a bit difference to me. I also like WoW’s endgame better and I really dislike GW2’s dungeons. Also I have more friends who play WoW and a lot of my guildies that used to play have stopped as well.
So as I said, I haven’t completely stopped playing but I’m definitely playing a lot less than I was.
