The CPU is an AMD Athlon II x2 215 @2.7ghz. Neither of us are any kind of computer-wizes but I’ve made sure the components are dusted off and properly connected, however I’ve noticed a slight miscoloring on the cpu itself – a whiteish (almost transparent) stain. I’ll install the temperature meter as soon as I have the time – what would be a favorable temperature? The problem has been such a headscratcher since other games work fine most of the time, so thank you all for all your help!

I should add that this computer was my first and I got it as a gift under the same circumstances Danikat mentions – opening the chassi was a biiig no-no
Also, the drivers are updated very recently, so I doubt that’s the issue.

Not sure if this is the right forum but I could really use some help.
My girlfriend has a computer “model older”, with a gt 220 graphics card.
The computer can run most games she likes to play (sims, cod, WoW, overwatch) on decent settings, but whenever she tries to run GW2 it only takes a few minutes before the computer “freezes”, the screen disconnects/turns black and the speakers give off a buzzing sound (probably a very short loop of the sounds playing on the compuer). I’ve tried to find a solution, but since it’s only an issue when running GW2 it’s hard to get tech support. If anyone has a clue what might cause this porblem we would both be very grateful.

How to preview dyes in game:

1. Go to guildhead.com
2. Search for the dye you want to preview, or just type “dye” for a full list
3. In the upper right-hand corner of the item’s entry, there will be a button that says “Link.” Click that.
4. Copy and paste the code (including the brackets) into your chatbox in the game. If you don’t want others to see it, make sure you’re whispering yourself and not on /map or something.
5. Right click to preview as you would any linked item. You can preview multiple times until the appropriate section is colored. Yes, you can do this at the same time as you preview pieces of gear.

I’ll just cut straight to the case:
When my warrior hits 80 I really want to get the full CoF (Citadel of Flame) armor, as I find it to be the best looking gear out there. However, I really want it in black. My mesmer is using the Midnight Ice dye on her CoF-shoulders and they really look more brown then black, and I would love if anyone would be able to confirm if it will look brown or black on the heavy set?
