Question about Question marks

So I saw the monthlies reset yesterday (so close but so far away ah well c’est la vie) but I noticed today after the patch the last item that was previously experience is now a series of question marks (and I’ve lost all the progress I made yesterday after reset). Anyone know what this new last item is for monthlies?

Hey Commonperson,

I’ll first ask if you got the three day jump ahead of everyone, and since then did you pick up your physical/digital copy, and register with the cd key provided?

I was having the same issue, couldn’t log into a few specific things, but as soon as I put my cd key in here (even thought I was able to play, and reset passwords); everything worked.

What graphic card are you using?
Did you uninstall the drivers before adding new ones?
Are you monitoring your GPU’s temperature?

Thanks for the response. I did get the 3 day head start and I didn’t get a physical copy (I got the digital deluxe) but I have registered everything so that’s all good. I know there’s been a lot of load issues so I’m going to just chill a couple days and see if I can log in then. Everything is registered though so it should be good.

As for my graphics card I have an AMD 5870 I removed the drivers, reinstalled the drivers and installed the “optimization pack” that is geared to improve performance (I didn’t install the pack until after the problem first manifested). Monitoring core temperature I’m in the green no problems there (I don’t over clock either so there’s no abnormal strain). Since I posted this digging through a few pages of results I found a bunch of people are having the same problem and it seems tied to Asuran engineers with a particular hairstyle. I’m hoping a bug fix comes soon because that seems pretty bugglike to me. :-)

Me as well, just saw this thread. At least it’s not just me. Doesn’t make it any less annoying but still at least it’s not just me.

I have two issues, first let me deal with the “support” site issue. I try and go to the support site, I tried to create an account with the e-mails that I primarily use (both of which have at one time been tied to NCSoft products). I am told accounts already exist I hit the “Send username” and no username is sent. So I try the reset password and that lets me reset the password BUT it doesn’t do anything for the support site. So there’s no way for me to get official support other than go on this forum and pray that some one from Arenanet sees this.

Now for my real issue, starting four days ago I tried on a piece of armour and all colour disapeared from my character’s head. I’ve reloaded my drivers, downloaded “optimized profiles” from AMD, I’ve restarted, shut of my computer (because some one said it could be that my computer was over heating) I’m simply desperate. I’ve attached the screen shot. ANY help would be appreciated, even an official response on how I can create a ticket would be nice.

The fact there’s no in game ticketing system is just insane to me. I’m sure there’s a reason but regardless it makes the entire support process a pain and I really would like this resolved. At this point I’m going to play another character because it’s seriously distracting. Sure it’s not game breaking but it really kills the enjoyment to be watching a glitch for hours on end.
