I had this problem initially after the patch. Tried all documented fixes; none worked for me. After a couple of days, I resigned myself to just trying, once every day, to patch normally. Today, it worked.

Every day I’ve tried just loading up the patcher to see if it worked yet. Every day until today, it did the same “1 file remaining” thing. Today, it worked as one would expect. Thank you for fixing it.

This issue is still not resolved. I have tried every solution I’ve seen posted, and I still have one file remaining that will not download. I’m on a cable connection in western NC, USA. Most of the patch came down at 5-7MBps; I can’t maintain 50KBps for this file.

Still having the “1 file remaining” issue. Have tried everything I’ve seen documented. (-assetsrv, -repair, delete local.dat, language change)
