Just adding my name to the list… My accounts say they are linked, I sign into both GW1 and GW2 with the same credentials but no rewards. Like others I went and got the stone in LA but was told I didn’t earned it yet. As much fun as I had the first time, I hope I don’t have to go back and put in a few more thousand hours in GW1 
I did submit a support ticket last week but I suspect this thread may produce an answer faster.
