Hi DesertClaw,
I am a member of Imaginary Combat, a small/medium guild of casual but experienced players currently at just over 50 members.
Imaginary Combat guildies play to have fun, but we’re good at it. We have a number of members who are very experienced in the game and enjoy mentoring other people. Our focus is on community: we want our guild to be your home and we your friends. Hence, we use TeamSpeak to communicate even if we’re just doing our own thing in game.
If we sound like we might be a good fit for you, check out our recruitment post for more information about Imaginary Combat here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/recruitment/Imaginary-Combat-MMA-Recruiting/first#post4462494, or check out our website here: http://mmagw2.com/recruitment.

Hi Ace,
I am from Imaginary Combat [MMA]. We are a small/medium guild of casual but experienced players, currently at just over 50 members. We don’t care what your experience, level, or equipment is like; we’ll help you get where you want to be. Instead, our focus is on community, where we want our guild to be your home where we are your friends.
Not all of our members are active every night, but every night you’ll find enough people online to form a group for dungeon runs or whatever else you might feel like doing. Most people get online starting shortly before the Daily reset, and continue playing long after. Depending on when you prefer to play, this may be getting a bit late for you. If not, please get in touch with me and I would be happy to tell you more about our guild.
You can also read more about our guild on our recruitment post here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/recruitment/Imaginary-Combat-MMA-Recruiting/first#post4462494, or you can check out our website here: http://mmagw2.com/recruitment.
Cheers,
Cookie
We are a small/medium guild of casual but experienced players, currently at just over 50 members.
Imaginary Combat guildies play to have fun, but we’re good at it. We have a number of members who are very experienced in the game and enjoy mentoring other people through challenging dungeons, fractals (from levels 1 through 50), world bosses, and guild events. Our focus is on PvE, though some members are also very involved in WvW (HoD).
In our guild, it’s about community: getting to know and helping one another. To better connect with each other, we prefer to use TeamSpeak as a VoIP chat client where we meet together, whether we are doing our own thing in game or partying up for an event. While this is not a requirement of joining our guild, it is highly recommended, at least to listen in.
One thing our guild is particular on is that you must represent the guild most of the time. We want to build a community, where our guild is your home and where we are your friends. However, we understand that there are specialized guilds that you may also want to be part of and represent on occasion, say for joining organized world events, in which case temporary representation of an alternative guild is understood.
My husband (Math Blaster.9410) and I (crudecookie.9752) are the official recruiters for the guild. Please feel free to contact us by participating in this thread, sending us mail in-game, or joining us in-game. You can get to know us and our fellow guildies, and ask questions and decide whether our guild would be a good fit for you.
Again, it’s about community. We do have a trial period to make sure that you’re a good fit for our guild, as much as we’re a good fit for you. Otherwise, we don’t have expectations in terms of how much experience you have or what kind of gear you own. We are open and welcoming to all.
