An update: fortunately, the customer support team sent me the armor & trinkets in 3 messages. You have to open the message on the character who will use them, since they will be soul-bound. They’re the original ones from the L80 boost, without any transmutations, which is fine. They did not have to roll back my account.

I’m still missing my original weapon, so I sent a reply.

Thanks for the reply. I did try GW2 Efficiency (great site, BTW!). No luck finding my missing gear.

I decided to keep the level 80 boosted character nearly 2 months ago, so I don’t think that’s it. He’s also been outside of the Silverwastes and was parked in one of the new maps before I went to the bank in HotM. However, I think all of the missing gear was originally from the boost, including the greatsword.

I was doing an armor swap before the daily dungeon. Thank goodness I didn’t lose the set of ascended armor I swapped into!

This just happened to me earlier today. I made a new post before seeing yours. I deposited a full set of soulbound exotic armor, trinkets, and a greatsword. All of it disappeared after I opened the bank again after a few seconds. Since most of the stuff was soulbound, there is no way it could have ended up in another character or account. My bags were not compacted and there’s no way I could have salvaged all of those items in a few seconds.

I already sent a message to support & got the auto-response back.

Did they have to roll back your account or did your items get mailed back to you? I hope they fix it soon, since I want to play with my guild tomorrow.

I already submitted a ticket, but I’m posting here in case this happened to someone else. I transferred a whole set of soul-bound exotic armor, trinkets, and a greatsword to my bank. When I went back to the bank, they were gone. The items were soul-bound, so there’s no way they could end up on another character or someone else’s account. There’s no way I could have accidentally salvaged 13 exotic items in a few seconds because of the extra prompt.

I tried moving things to the empty slots in the bank, on the character’s bags, switching characters, reloading the program, but none of these helped. All of my bags are visible – none were compacted. Most of the armor was from the level 80 boost.
