Two questions actually. I got the portal drop about an hour ago now along with a message saying I should receive an e-mail but I never did get one, was it suppose to e-mail me right away or when it gets closer to beta?
Also, when will the beta take place?

groans This 16th? Don’t think I can wait that long. I just love everything that is Christmas. Last year wasn’t anywhere near being lvl 80 to do most the activities but still did on a lvl 5-10 and had a blast. Ohhh the snow throwing i remember that. Maybe they’ll start sooner as a christmas present to us, Hopefully.
I joined last year the day before the christmas celebrations ended. I just wanted to know when they would start up this year? Been looking forward to them for awhile they looked really fun.

I have posted on here once or twice looking for a guild but have yet to have found one. Have been in a few since I joined but they seemed to have been more childish then anything else.
Finally reached lvl 80 on my Mesmer now working on a thief a little here and there. Would like to be a somewhat mature guild ( i know everyone kids around from time to time ), And helpful. For I would like to get into dungeons hopefully getting tired of being kicked out of groups because of no experience, we all started new once right? Would also like to try making a legendary weapon if possible.
It doesn’t have to be full of people but being based in Sea Of Sorrows would be a plus to. If you have a guild either contact me in game or leave details here. Thanks for your time.
Not sure where to ask this but it said Tech Support. I am unable to get into Lions Arch at all by wp and from the lands that has a portal to it. I am able to get to everywhere else but Lions Arch when I was able to get there yesterday and the days before. It said it could be server failure or Connection error but my Connection hasn’t dropped or stopped at all since I got this game. Just want to know if this is a problem that has already been asked about or if I am unable to get to the festival at all.
Thank you all for replying. Everything is helpful and have saved all the links that were given. I am already at lvl 80 but just have been going through trying to complete the map. Just started PvP ( I am horrible at it ) but it’s fun trying. As I said have just been winging it since starting the game with no idea what the heck I am doing but seems there are lots to learn but that’s ok loving the game so it will be well worth it.
Thanks for responding so fast. As for buying them I have bought 10 of them using all the money I had in the game. I haven’t even started doing dungeons yet because most people are wanting to paid to help out. Headed to Southsun Cove already and have 3 shells already lol but still needs a lot more. Hello. I wasn’t sure were to ask this either here or crafting but chose here. Where can I get find Karka Shells? I need them to craft with or I can’t level up. I have been playing gw2 since Christmas day 2013 and just have been winging it not knowing what the heck I am doing. The help will be grateful. Thank you.
I am brand spanking new to GW and looking for a good guild. Thought I would be able to do this on my own but what’s the fun in that and also have absolutely no idea what I am doing so any and all help would be wonderful and appreciated.
