We’ve also had two more Adventure Hours ingame! There’s much roleplay afoot with airships and asura and anomalies…

Doctor Captain Jolan Griffin, Vandris Sendaris, Maibh, and Araav joined together to rescue Tayhaai from the Inquest Complex in Metrica Province. They charged in with their stolen assault golem and managed to fight off an Inquest ambush, but sadly they only found that their asura was in another complex. Jolan hacked the computers to find out Tayhaai’s new location while the others protected her from more Inquest attacks. They managed to escape, and will have to regroup and prepare to try a sneaker approach to getting their friend back next time.

And as always.. when in doubt… pink quaggan is the only way to go.

We also did guild missions afterwards! We started with an easy Bounty, Rush and Puzzle where we ran into another guild. It was really interesting… by the time we got to Challenge, we had about 9 people left, not quite enough to do it easily. so we split into three groups and with some patience and communication we downed it with seconds to spare! We also stopped for random photo time.

We do our guild missions weekly, usually on Saturday in the evening EDT.

We had our Adventure Hour for roleplay today! We were continuing on our guild story, of raising an airship to travel and help Tyria in. All members were welcome to this RP.

While finishing up the repairs on the ship and adding the necessary magitechnology to make it airborne, a nearby group of Inquest found out about the Remnants’ plans and started to attack. By working together (and employing the help of a humpback whale) Jolan Griffin, Vandris Sendaris, Maibh, Caetrine, Araav, Tayhaai, Jaso Wayris, and Fenris successfully repelled the Inquest attackers just in the nick of time. They even took down a large assault golem and took an Inquest prisoner. The modifcations finished, the Criterion triumphantly was raised from the waves and flew to the port in Rata Sum. The Remnants of Hope had made their official return to the world of Tyria!

A Cypher! That’s me! It was fun – we ended up just running around levelling/completing till we had to log for the night.

We have had our first ingame guild RP for a while, very excited to see more! Our RP Officer has posted this summary…. looks like there’s an airship in our future!

Jolan Griffin, Caetrine, and Jayso Wayris met at the Claw Portage docks in Lion’s Arch. Later Liam Ruaidhin, Muirellthe Moon, Tayhaii, and Laandris joined them. Jolan told them of her “large and vague” plans to revive the ancient guild known as Remnants of Hope, including finding and salvaging their famous ship the Criterion. The other six adventurers quickly agree to help. Jolan and Muirellthe Moon head out to Rata Sum to arrange for the use of a dock in Dawnside Quay to serve as the revived guild’s base of operations, and then to the Priory library to try and discover the location of the Criterion. That is when the session ended.

Please welcome our new GW2 RP Officer! He’s had some amazing ideas so far, including airships and escapades, and has been a frequent RP organizer and assistant within the guild for a while.

We had a really fun event the other day where we did the Zephyr Sanctum events and crystals together! About ten people got to participate, we did each event at least once, and got about 35 crystals together So many portals!

Lately we have been enjoying the recent Festival of the Winds.

Many of our members have listed getting a Legendary as one of their goals, and Jaan has recently achieved this! Congratulations Jaan! Another member Danata has also recently found a precursor – and has lots of work ahead of him. Here’s a pic of Jaan’s new legendary as he shows off

We had another round of Guild missions last Saturday – and I’m looking forward to doing this Saturday’s too! It was the second time we ever completed a defender mission… glad we ran into you [OLD]!

We also have some new avatars for our members of their characters

Ahhhh! We did another round of guild bisnas on Saturday – it was really fun! We ran around as chickens (thanks for the help too [AARM]!), and shot giant icicles from a ceiling.

There was also a round of “Freshie Fractals”… we got some of our newer members to try out Fractals, some who hadn’t tried them before and others who had not done very many. Neat!

I’ve been having a lot of fun in GW2 lately! Some of the stuff I’ve done lately have been.. Guild Missions, Guild Puzzle, random fractals with guildmates, running into guildmates at world bosses and just chattering in our teamspeak even when I’m playing alone or turning into a pink quaggan. Bobble head day was really funny!

We also had our guild-wide meeting this Friday.

Had a silly blast running a Fractal the other night with Asti, Endwalker, Tayte and Raiiya the other day! Wasn’t expecting to even log into the game that night, but the warm welcomes and encouragements to do scary fractals made me want to come… well worth it!

Another group managed to get the same new fractal as us.. here’s a picture of *Aravail, BeardManly, Appleveedub, Aryiis, and Tayte * standing victorious!

Forum Roleplay: Queensdale Hunter’s Lodge Tavern and Inn

A GW2 roleplay on our forums is in full swing!

Low-lying fog wound its way around the corners of the building, nestling up to the kindling piles, obscuring the heavy-paned windows with their thick, diamond-shaped glass panels. In the settled dusk, the Queensdale Hunter’s Lodge shone its light weakly, competing with the smothering aura of the thickly moisturized air. The heavy, iron-braced door opened wide, a slight creak emanating from the wood. Inside, a hearth to the right crackled brightly, its flames continually stoked by a friendly-faced woman in long skirts. Nearby, a few patrons ate their meals quietly at a long oaken table, seemingly uninterested in small talk.
