I do making success dependent not just on the individual but on the community. But still enriching your community through constructive criticism and not just “You’re a useless moron” seems like the obvious choice to me. Why not help people grow and by doing so help the community around you grow and advance their skills. I just taught a whole group yesterday how to do AC and it only took me about 10-15 minutes longer than it normally would, and from now on 4 new people know how to run AC smoothly.

More and more I see people getting nothing short of furious at new or inexperienced players. Come on people we were all there once. This game is supposed to provide a friendly community, and the mechanics of the game reflect that by making it almost mandatory to rely on other players for some content. Why verbally abuse someone for doing something wrong that they didn’t even know was wrong? Just yesterday I saw someone do this on a level 7 dynamic event…. Are you kidding? Why not help these players learn by giving them constructive criticism? This would help create more competent players as well as keeping the environment a positive one where people want to help each other out. Just because an event failed doesn’t mean your dog is going to die or something terrible will happen. Chances are that event starts again in another two hours anyway. Take the time to teach these players what to do so next time when they do these events or world bosses you have one more player who is helping your map to win.

Is there anyway that I can change the email for my gw2 account. I’m about to graduate from college and they’re deactivating my email account (the one email I used to make my gw2 account) in about 3 months. So is there a way for me to swap out that email before it goes inactive.

After this latest update 5/28, I recieve no exp after killing enemies. No gold numbers are coming up after I kill something and no exp is actually being added to my total exp. I can still recieve exp for exploration and dynamic events.
