I received a response from Arenanet to my ticket that I submitted on 8/28. The canned message told me I should submit an ingame bug report. This is the second response I’ve received since 9/1, which at least said they were looking into it. I feel like I’m going backwards and losing progress. This is ridiculous at this point.

I’m still unable to play in tournaments. I found another thread which has received a response so I’m glad to see that it’s apparently been acknowledged and is being worked on. Unfortunately I just happened to stumble upon the thread and wouldn’t know otherwise, as I’ve received no update in 2 weeks now.

I’ve had the same issue since the day of release (8/28) and have received one response to my ticket on 9/1 stating that it was “not forgotten”. I’ve been updating it every few days and have posted on this forum and received no update since.
After almost 3 weeks of waiting I still can’t join tournaments. The support response I’ve received has been pretty abysmal, even considering the strain they must be under with release. It would be nice to be able to play the part of the game I’m primarily interested in and where all my friends are playing. Instead, I’ve just been logging on to see if I can join tournaments at this point.
I still have not received a response since the initial reply I received from 9/1. My ticket has been open since 8/28. I realize this is perhaps a low priority issue relative to people who lost their accounts, but it’s extremely frustrating to not be able to play with my friends without fighting with the autobalance and to not have had an update in 10 days now.
I’m still having this problem as of today, it’s now been 11 days since the initial ticket submission with the last update over a week ago.
Since approximately the 28th, I’ve been unable to join tournaments. Previously I had played in the free tournaments and was in fact playing on that day, until I disbanded a roster and then suddenly am unable to join any further teams. Clicking on “create roster” would not work, nor would accepting an invite from another player. I tried on multiple characters and after relogging. This has persisted until today.
I’ve logged a support ticket and received an update stating it was being looked at, but with all the more pressing issues with the game I don’t have much hope of a timely resolution. Has anyone else encountered this and been able to resolve it? Googling also does not turn up anything relevant. At this point it’s extremely frustrating, playing with my friends is a struggle in public games we have to fight the autobalance to be on the same team. Thanks in advance for any help!
