Just wanted to share my thoughts on the story and cutscenes. Its not a flaming topic, its just to gather some opinions and hopefully make it better one day. Just to improve the game.

• How i do the story? Go to green marker, enter, talk to NPC. Heres the good part of it – pick any of the choices given. If told to choose between a few people whose side to choose, then choose randomly or whoever looks better. The choices seeme to have no effect later on, so they are completly irrelevant. So you just pick random answers – all seeme to work.

• Cutscenes (talking to NPCs). Skip all. They are boring and too slow. No animation ect.

Im currently level 51. First good cutscene was in the story missions like level 39-ish or smth. I hope there will be good cutscenes later in the game. So far – only boring talking to NPCs.

Conclusion – the way the story is represented is poor. People skip cutscenes and therefor loose the point of that action. doing so makes it all just mindless PVE killing. No story, no feelings, no side perferred ect.

I came from the Secret World and there the cutscenes are awsome. You want to see them, you always watch them for the first time, sometimes even more. Therefor you know the story, you know the background and it stirs up some feelings inside you towards one faction or another ect. It is vital!

• How to make it better ?

Story.

Make choices more important. Make some good and bad choices. The way i see it at the moment is that you have good, good and good choice only. Whatever you pick it only changes the path you run or the NPCs you are going to meet. No difference there. OR even better – make easy, medium and hard way to complete the mission. Each will be rewarded with appropriate awards.

Cutscenes (talking to NPC).

You do not need the fullscreen dialogue. Cancel that. It looks boring, id rather skip them. It would even look better if the camera would zoom in the real world to show the player and the NPC.

Animated cutscenes (between some events).

There great. But you need more of them. Replace some of the ‘’Cutcenes (talking to NPC’’ with animated cutscenes.

Ill just mention this, incase anyone else has had the same problem.

1. I equipped the Kraken new 20-slot bag (last nights event).
2. I took all gear off. Placed them into the Kraken big bag. Luckily i placed a few items into another bag aswell.
3. I looked trade window to get some parts of armor and weapons replaced with better ones since im levelling up. I did that for a while. Checked back to my inventory to compare items.
4. Suddenly BAM! All the items from the bag were gone.

Relogged. Thought maybe the items would appear again. Nope. All gone. :P
