I agree, kinda annoying that you gotta travel to change your build. Its not like hes asking for them to add a reset trait idea in game, its already there but its annoying to use. Just make it from your trait tab(charge me if you want 5 sc ) but don’t make me pointlessly TP to a NPC to do it.

The Grind

I agree. Some fixes could be more ways to obtain the armor. For example

- Dungeon armor is only obtained by running the same dungeon over and over… and over again(Grind). This is boring. Why not let those tokens drop from mobs/ or events around the zone to( at a rate that would be close to the dungeon run)

- Make the Dungeon currencies and other things collected in different ways.

-After you finish a heart you should be able to re do it for more tokens towards dungeon armor. Take out grind. Just spread the ways to recieve certain items accross a variety of areas/and events and this will take the grind away.

I have leveled up two alts and have rarely run into people in the lower zones( up to 40 so far) Lots of people are saying they are packed, which is only the case for the brief second Maw is up.

They should somehow combine low population areas from all servers just like a overflow.

I spent over 2 hours in 3 different areas and ran into no one.

(also if your server is jam packed in all zones, please let me no what one) because ive guested a few servers and same results pop up.

Ideas:

Combine low pop zones from different servers so at least theres people around

- make hearts re doable, give some sort of awards or prices for doing them.

-make exp better for high lvl players so they come back, also upgrade loot for those players so they want to play in those areas.

-Create a kill order in certain zones

Example: kill 200 mobs in Metrica province and complete 10 events/ 5 hearts and you recieve something). Maybe new items or some currency to buy. Or even money. that would get people running around. This would make most of the zones fill up again..

Please arenanet do something about this, I met one new person today and they liked the game but were sad about no one around.

Ya, theres lots of stats that wouldnt effect gameplay that could be added to, such as faster gathering boosts, and 1 % – 5 % more karma etc.. If they added this plus your legendary armor idea , there would be so much to do this game would never get boring .

Yes i agree completely. It would unbalance WvW or PVP.. Dungeons would be fine i think.

I would like to see a consisten skill tree after you hit 80(maybe it unlocks at 70 or something). It would completely bring people back to the game day in and day out to gather experience, do dungeons for experience . Example: lets call these things ( Secondary Abilities) SA for short

Running boost 0/20 . first level gives you 1 % faster , needs 2 SA(which equals two level ups)..This is a passive ability and will stay with your character forever.. It would bring extreme amount of character depths and you will always feel like your character is progressive, even if you have the best gear.

You could also add it for your strenght/vitality etc goes up a tiny bit. such as

Strength SA 0/10 add 2 % strength per slot filled. needs 3 SA points per lvl.

With a system like this you would be able to make it seem like there was 400-500 levels to get( and more would be added with further exspansions)..

Everquest has a system called AA and it with nice, but for guild wars you would have to tone it down a bit because to many AA’s made your character so OP that no one wanted you without it..

Just something I would love to see in the game, nothing more exciting then leveling up and you getting a small reward. Once you get to lvl 80 and have best gear(which doesn’t take to long) unless your going for legendary, then your character development leaves.. Theres a lot you could do, like taking a tiny fraction of a second of a certain skill with enough points etc..

Dunno if i explained it properly, but it could add so much to GW2.

Karma as a more versatile currency!

Ya this is a very nice idea. It can feel a bit grindy sometimes when you need a certain thing. Like you said, you gotta play a certain content to get the items you need, which gets extremely boring at times. Making karma a different way of gathering items would be a very nice thing. Even if you did it for dungeon armor, at least people wouldn’t have to grind same dungeon for over 2000 tokens to get a set, they could simply just play the game and gather karma..(grinding = bad )
