I noticed a lot of people posting here are newer players.

Relevance? Seems like a polite way of saying “quiet, n00b”.
Of course it is biased towards new players. It’s the first quest on the quest line.

The relevance is people feel frustrated and want to know when this is getting fixed. I was validating that and explaining how things get fixed in batches and how communication on this specifically may not be the best, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it this is not being addressed. I was trying to be helpful. In no way was I telling people to stop posting about it.

Sorry, it just came across as “Quiet, noob, let me explain how things are done around here”. Things get fixed in batches unless they are major and enough people are upset, in which case a hotfix is applied. Given that the Asura personal story is also bugged:

..and reportedly the Charr personal story is also bugged, this means that 1/3 of new players of these races are unable to progress, unable to understand the wider context of the game world, and are basically reduced to running around squashing rats, assuming they even understand that it’s not them doing something wrong. It breaks immersion and it’s crazy that this was the same bug that happened years ago. It warrants a hotfix.

FYI all, according to the devs in the above link, the Asura personal bug is planned to be fixed in “next Tuesday’s patch” along with some rather condescending comments from the devs about people “freaking out”. So I’m assuming this one is also planned to be fixed then, but would be great to get some confirmation.
