I can understand that but shouldn’t it be simple to patch in? Tridef can do it for numerous games for $50. Would be a nice selling point for expansion to have a little oculus and google cardboard logos on the back. Some people would likely buy the game just for that reason alone.

I’m confused as to why an nVidia graphics card is required for 3d in game.
With Oculus Rift, and my own google cardboard it seems like it should be the simplest thing to display output as Side-By-Side regardless of brand.
I’m on the tridef trial but was thrilled when I saw the setting, less than thrilled when I saw it greyed out, and then dismayed when a few searches said it was only for nVidia. I had been hoping doing it ingame, as opposed to via tridef- may increase my framerate.
