I’ve seen (or known) a lot of people who have thieves that do a good amount of burst damages (which I may say is a build focusing on burst damages ), but why don’t you try an evasive, bleeding based build. I know that some of you are already using this type of build, but I’m saying this to those who don’t. This type of build focuses on bleeding and evading instead of doing burst damages.
So, if you want to try the build, use dual daggers, with dual daggers you’ve got Death Blossom that lets you both evade and bleed your foe.
Then you’ve got the slot skills. I use Hide in Shadows, Shadow’s Refuge, Caltrops, Blinding Powder(for some extra stealth), and Dagger Storm.
The sigils that I use are 2 sigils of agony, or if you want a weapon-swap sigil, sigil of geomancy is pretty good.
Then you’ve got runes. I prefer Rune of the Krait or an alternative, Rune of the Afflicted.
And finally, the traits. The traits that I use are :
20 on Trickery. Using 3. Uncatchable, 7. Bountiful Theft.
20 on Acrobatics. Using 2. Power of Inertia, 7. Fleet of Foot.
20 on Shadow Arts. Using 6. Cloaked in Shadows, 8. Hidden Thief.
10 on Deadly Arts. Using 3. Mug.
I use this build with the traits, skills etc. above. You can use the traits you feel will do better.
Ultimately, this is a build that works best in PvP. It is also useful when you have to fight a huge number of enemies that are clustered and grouped together. It’s not bad at PvE though, but better at PvP. It is a good class. You should try it.
Thank You.
