As promised update:
I send a support ticket under game play as suggested.
Without any hassle they send me the correct ring to me in my mail
and asked me to destroy the second copy

So it all worked out better than expected

The only other MMO i have ever played is Eve online
I actually never gave the “unique” situation a single thought until i couldn’t equip it.

I usually check to see if i can equip items throug the hover-pop-up-thingy that turns more or less red when i can not use a specific item.
They could make it red as well stating you already have it equipped, or something like that

I do hope that Anet is willing to do at least something.. The 4 silver its worth at the vendors isn’t so attractive. And i have seen other threads here were people had the ring switched to the right one..

I have now submitted it via their support page here as a “gameplay” issue.
I really hope they are in a good mood when reading it

Yeah, i have learned that by now Unique..
They should mention it in a tooltip or such :/

I would love another PVT ring.. I’ll let it stay in my bag for a while and see what happens.. :/

Seriously? 1 months worth of gameplay lost like that?

It’s soulbound already.
I thought it would equip in the second slot..
I also thought that there would be some kind of warning telling you that you can’t use the same item twice? just a slight hint of some kind?

I learned the hard way that i can not use two of the same Ascended items.

Is there any to reverse a transaction like that? I cost 35 laurels..

I feel pretty lousy right now.
