I haven’t been playing long, only like 3 months, but my main character is an elementalist and i got him to be a pretty brutal contender in pvp using d/d and focusing moderately on chill and healing. Putting 6 traits into water and the rest in fire and arcane. Sigils of water and ice. Boost those canttrips and definitely windborne dagger. Put your traits into regeneration and might. basically i found boosting healing to be way more effective than toughness and the repeated use of chill effects keeps those heavy damage dealers at bay. Also its really easy to drop serious fire attunement combos on a slowed down opponent. Essentially you should be focusing on lots of burns and bleeds while keeping a priority on not getting hit. Its a pretty good character for one on one and the chill is a great way to support your allies too, just don’t get caught outnumbered cuz no matter what the ele is not going to be the most survivable. This build helps you recover from damage fast, not take lots of it.
