My guild did a Guild Rush tonight and completed it. The leader then qued up a new rush so that anyone who didnt get through the first one could get another shot at commendations/bonus chest. Those of us who didnt make it to the chest in the first rush made to the the chest in the second one but there was no bonus chest with the rares/commendations in it.
My idea for a fix is a bit of a merger of different ideas here that dont include general AoE resistance (since the devs seem to be set against that).
1. General health boost to pets
2. Cooldown on pet swap reduced and death penalty greatly reduced.
a) Pet swap at 15 sec (10 with trait).
b) Death penalty reduced to 20-30 seconds).
3. Base pet damage reduced to around 15% of the rangers damage.
a) BM trait stats adjusted to boost pet up to 40% of ranger damage at 30 points.
4. Pet UI increased in size
5. Permanent stow button for traveling and jumping.
6. Permanent name change or at least loose the “juvenille” once tamed.
7. Fix F2 abilities so they are more instant and override any auto sequence of other abilities.
While overall I think GW2 has a pretty good UI, I do feel some improvements are needed.
1) Allow us to move and resize elements on the UI. This is most important in reguards to boons and conditions. The icons should be movable and be able to be resized to each players needs. I know myself often dont notice when I have a certain boon on me or when I have been dotted up during a fight, due to how small the icons are.
2) Allow us to customize the color of various chat types. That way if I dont want to use the default color I could for example make guild chat green and whispers yellow.
3) Increased party frames for WvWvW and world events. This would be most useful for guilds looking to make one big guild group rather than multiple 5 man groups when doing world events and in WvWvW.
4) Allow us to preview items on the Auction House and the guild items like we can the dungeon armor sets and cultural items.
5) Though not technically a UI issue I would like to see support for a greater variety of peripherals that have more than the standard 5 buttons. In my case I have a Razor Lachesis (9 buttons), but can only slave 5 of them to a keybind without using some kind of macro system.
