What's wrong with vertical progression?

I wish more RPG’s would adopt a progression line like EVE online. Where the ONLY vertical progression is how many “0’s” you have in your wallet, and not how many “0’s” come after your weapon/stats.

What’s so bad about vertical progression? Stat Inflation. Look at WoW, nuff said.

Actually I’ve found that Technobabble works “ok” in PvP if your a mesmer specced for interrupt/condition. Technobabble is a daze so it works with all the daze traits. Another cheap free stun. (Granted it does little to no dmg).

Asura are just as varied in their politics as the other races. The Infinity ball personal quest line will involve a krewe of Asura protesting a particle accelerator saying if they turn it on it will destroy “Mother Tyria”. So keep on playing that Ranger you tree hugging magic worshipper. (And plus Magic is all things. It can change shape and be shaped. Tyria and the trees, rocks, etc, are just variations on physical properties of Magic.)

Who uses the bomb kit?

Bomb kit works great in PvE (against any mobs without range). all you have to do is run in a tight circle (about the diameter of your biggest bomb) and just spam your abilities. Nothing beats the bomb kit for farming crafting mats. Just tag as many mobs as you can with a rifle/gun and then spam bombs while you run around in a circle. It’s awesome (even without any traits).

It works great in PvP (WvW) (if you spec right).

As I’m not a fan of “competitive gaming” i don’t really know how the bomb kit works in structured pvp.
