Weird, I am full glass, ele, and i never ran into a problem with the snipers, sure i took alot of damage but i manage the encounter(unless i do not see the sniper targetting me among the horde of enemies then i might die while taking the bulk of the attack, but still not a problem), and as for the mist field problem you having, i just end up kiting/dodging them until the mist effect runs out and then they die like paper.

The sniper Burst is awful, but as said here is manageable, provided your not facing numerous snipers. Getting zapped by three snipers at 5k all in a second is pretty much a “Help me please” situation. Exept on rare occasions, mobs in HOT come in groups of a couple of hundred so damage mitigation is really not an issue, If you don’t have a group of 10 or so people forget it. If your solo, rez and run back. Which brings up another question, Why do mobs continue to attack you after you die? Should they loose agro when your dead body falls to the ground? What exactly is the point of having downed skills if the mobs beat you to death then stomp your corpse into the ground?

Agreed, the Daredevil just ………….Isn’t. Sad too, as I had high hopes for my thief. As it stands, either I ignore the elite traits and play my thief as is, or spend a lot of extra time running or dying. HoT mobs are much tougher and do far too much damage for the thief elite to be so weak and sooooooooooooooooo slow!

That may be true for the ranged classes like the ele and the archer, but for melee, there’s just no easy way to deal with multiple vet’s and a half doz reg mobs at one time. I think the new content is heavily favored toward ranged and decidedly stacked against melee.

Well I like a lot about the beta expansion, but there are far too many mobs and they do far too much damage. This reminds me more of a raid zone than an expansion. Is that the intention to make all the new content raid content? There just isn’t any way any class or build can solo the content especially at night. If the release is like this I’ll be looking for a new game to spend my money on, and quickly.
