I see that someone else was confused by Part 1/Part 2 here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/s2/I-can-t-start-Dragon-s-Reach-Part-1
But it doesn’t answer my question. I was absent during Part 1, it isn’t unlocked. Is there a way I can keep playing Part 2? I can’t find a way to the Ley Line Hub (cave) for “Recalibrating the Waypoints”, and from what I read on the wiki the only way to access it is via the story quest through Scarlet’s secret passage.
I figured I’d ask here before bugging support. Thanks!
Trahearne still needs to go away forever though.
“CLAWRL ISLAND.”
At least it’s…remotely authentic British…? (Not sure who voices him.)
Does anyone know the voice actor for Captain Ellen Kiel in the LS?
She reminds me of Lana Parrilla (Regina in Once Upon a Time), but it can’t possibly be her, can it?
Yeah, I also did not hear or see anything regarding her removal in the patch notes or elsewhere. F.me for skimming, eh?
I’ve heard it, too, but I think it’s a feature. Was actually trying to find more info on it and stumbled on this post.
Thanks for that map. That’s exactly the kind of thing I was looking for—-an overlay of the new and old.
So, in essence: retcon? Then why bother showing us that relic of the previous ecosystem? (Can’t remember the name of the area with the skill point in Gendarren Fields.)
Also, is the climate progression any more realistic in GW2? You still have a jungle on the same latitude as mountain/alpine snow.
I searched for this topic in the forum but couldn’t find anything.
Has anyone found an explanation for the massive change in ecosystem around Kryta? Is a flood really enough to turn a subtropical zone into a temperate zone?
For those who played Prophecies, you’ll remember the palm fronds, green fields, and turquoise beaches of Kryta. Right? What turned it all into deciduous “aspen”?
Down in Gendarran Fields, there is one Communing skill point that actually shows these old palm fronds through a mine and past a bunch of spiders. So, we know for a fact that developers are aware of this change, and are referencing the old ecosystem. Have they acknowledged it anywhere else?
