Looking at the posts above, I guess it is not possible at all to get back accounts that have been flagged as payment fraud even when applying a valid code on top of it. I wished Support or Gaile would just say out front that this will not work instead of me waiting days for some hope… :-(

Guess I would just ask for a refund for the new code that I have purchased and move on since I could not play the characters that I have become attached to. My friend who joined the game with me has also left as he found the game boring. Ironically I was the one that kept him in the game when he wanted to stop a few times by persuading him that things will get better later. Too bad he decided to leave the game permanently since my account was suspended and could not play the game anymore…

Thank you Gaile for your support in this forum as it is much, much better then the support we get through the CS system. :-) You may already know this but I would like to say nonetheless that all the people who posted here in this forum are your genuine customers who really support the game since they even bothered to post in a public forum. They have nothing to hide and are genuine victims that have their account suspended/banned due to uncontrollable circumstances. I hope you could do something for them even when it seems impossible as I’m sure they will be the people who will stay with this game the longest with their earnest plea to get back their account.

I wished you guys best of luck and hope Gaile and CS can get back your account. If there is ever a chance that I could get back mine, I too would come back. But for now, I’ll ask for the refund since I do not have the time to wait any longer and move on with my life.

Thanks for the update! I see now that I belong to the group of “Account closed for payment fraud; will not be reinstated.” Incident: 121027-001488

I saw from one of your reply that it could be because the reseller that I bought from charge-back on the credit card they used to pay for the game. However, I bought from the reseller because it advertised on their website that they are professional MMO online site selling legit keys with positive testimonials posted on the main page. I am now still in the midst of trying to get a refund from them…

While waiting, I bought a new Serial Code directly from GW2 website 2 days ago to try to get my account back because I spend quite a lot of time with the game and have grown very attached to the characters that I have created. I also wanted to enjoy the great Halloween event but could not partake in it since it is ending very soon…

So since I have already bought and applied the new Serial Code to my existing account successfully (at least there was no error when I applied the code on top of my account) and my account is still blocked, what are my options now? I really want to continue playing with my current account and have received no reply from Support so far whether I would be unblocked… :-(

Immediately after receiving a reply from Support yesterday that I’m a victim of payment fraud, I bought a Serial Code directly from GW2 website hoping to get into the game and continue with whatever time that is left for me to do the Halloween event. However, my account is still blocked even after applying the code on top of my account and there was no reply from Support so far…

Please kindly unblock my access to the game quickly (which I hope is not a difficult thing to do) before the event ends tomorrow… :-( Oh, and please seriously consider doing all these account suspension for unexplained reasons during weekdays so that you have enough staffs to attend to all the disputes quickly, and victims like us will not be frustrated over not being able to play the game over weekends… or in this case, weekend + holiday event… sigh…

Yep. Exact error message I received as well when I tried to login 4 hours ago. Suspended for an account issue and no email received that explain further what is the issue.

Maybe ArenaNet can consider minimizing suspending/banning of accounts over weekends or even during holiday events which I think most people will be playing the game around this peak period? This way innocent players like us here are able to settle any disputes during weekdays instead of loosing play time on weekends waiting for Support to resolve the issue…
