Same issues here on Desolation.

Coinciding with the release of the guesting functionality, I just haven’t been able to enjoy any large scale events due to every one going from server to server farming chests.

You can tell that an event window is up because as soon as that window comes up you’re over in an overflow straight away. Go back 1 minute after the event, the area is lowly populated once more.

Guesting benefits a few people, whereas not having guesting on benefits the majority.

Please turn it off and concentrate on removing the culling, fixing the broken dungeon routes (just had to abandon Ascalonian Catacombs path 3 tonight after the path bugged and couldn’t get past the Warmaster bit), and we’ll all be happy again.

Thanks for the great game though. Love it.

Is there any Viable p/p builds

Not sure about WvW, but I find that a dual pistol/shortbow build is the strongest for DPS in dungeons/fractals while maintaining high survivability.

You can actual trait for high initiative generation, use roll for initiative, and the infiltrators signet and you’ll end up with an almost constant stream of Unloads of around 7-10k a burst (more at enemy less than 50% with executioner trait).

So that’s usually around EIGHT Unloads in a row… which works out at 8 × 7-10k damage in the space of 14 seconds. Not to mention you are ranged, so can avoid big hitting bosses/mobs.

Put the points into acrobatics so that you have might on dodge, and party might on steal. You get endurance back on dodge, so you can do more. Infiltrator’s signet gives you back full might too when activated. So plenty of dodging to avoid being touched,

Shortbow for mobs of 2 or more and you’ve got an extremely effective PVE DPS build.

Ahh come on… please put a decent solution to this up. It ruins the dungeons when the leader gets kicked or their connection drops.

No other multiplayer game I know punishes everyone when the instance owner is kicked.

I’ve been running dual pistol + shortbow in the dungeons with a glass cannon build. Finding that the burst is quite nice. Here’s a video of Citadel of Flame path 1:

If you had to choose one to run in Dungeons, Nemesis… would you favour this build or your hybrid burst/condition build?

You should be proud! That was some pretty awful game play from me there, but the build carried it through.

Nice to be pulling some weight in the dungeons though, so many thanks.

Hey Nemesis.

Just wanted to say I’ve switched to your build back when you first posted this, and I love it.

I also added some sigils of the centaur so that I get an additional 15% bleed duration to your already impressive 30% extra. So getting even more stacks.

Made a video of possibly our worst ever run on CoF path 1, but I think it shows how great this build can be for the dungeon runs:

Shows all the gear I’ve got. Not managed to earn any ascended gear or triforge pendants yet.

Watch for the comedy running off the bridge moment ;(

Doesn’t seem to be working any more. Doesn’t matter how often I log out and log back in , with any of my characters, the pumpkins don’t respawn.

Ran out of pumpkins now in Lion’s Arch and Queensdale.

Did something change or is it just broken for me?
