yeah, over in guild wars 2 guru, there’s an argument-fueled thread on whoffensive names, usually involving some people claiming toilet humour is equal to swearing, whilst others argue we should be able to swear whenever (of course i’s full of invalid arguments, soooo).

You wouldn’t get banned for that. They’ve stated this multiple times.

I’d bet you said more than that to get banned.

this is always the way it goes. not to “fight the system”, but I’m too worried to say anything on toilet humour level right now in game, it may not be bannable, but I’m definitely afraid an evangelical being might smite me for uttering “poo” in public chat. but maybe that’s a good thing? if people are more worried about riskay language, then maybe they’ll be more considerate.
however I didn’t notice this level of banhammer activity in GW1 (maybe it was still there), and there wasn’t much of a problem, apart from the occasional troll in pvp or shing jea.
