Okay, so after playing an ele and engi to lvl 80, I decided to make a Mesmer. I have reached lvl 20, and thought it would be good to begin on crafting. But honestly I’m not sure what to do. I did very little crafting on my other characters, but would love to do some more. Are the best Mesmer weapons or armor made by crafting? What is my best bet?

So, I have been running mainly environment and dungeons with some Living Story and PvP every once and a while, and I really want a good set of lvl 80 Karma armor.

I focus on staying alive as long as possible, and primarily use D/D or Staff as weapons. Earth is my current go to attunement.

Where and who should I go for good Karma armor? The far Shiverpeaks? Orr?

I would call Zerker hardly a self support build. It most certainly does allow You to kill mobs fast, but You cant solo Orrian Champions with it, now can You? With that build of mine here? Sure thing.

So I’m really loving leveling an engineer as my second lvl 80 , but I really aren’t sure which traits and build I should use . I usually go solo , so unless I want to do WvW or PvP ( which is rare) , I just want to be able to support myself . What is the best build for me ?

A guardian’s only ranged option is scepter. Scepter is not very useful at all.

Actually, from what I’ve understand is that the guardian scepter auto attack has the best base DPS for single target.

Also Scepter #2 was supposed to be in the top tier dps for enemies with Large hit boxes.

I have had some experience w guardians , and personally didn’t like them at all . I hope their scepter attacks are being improved

Personally , I think E is Ellen Kiel , she has been less prominent in the storyline , and might be hiding it . I don’t think E is a man for some reason . Probably because of the thing w Marjory

I think it will just be like you are a special sylvari who fought the corruption , don’t think the whole race will go down , hopefully …

Okay , so I have a level 80 norn, elementalist , and I really want to level a human next . I’m not huge on melee classes , but I’m really just not sure what would be best for me . I don’t like taking aggro , and really prefer to stay ranged , but not sure whether a ranger, engineer , ranged guardian or warrior , anyone have any ideas ? Are there any classes that go well with a human ?
