I just bought the game a couple days ago. Every time I have tried to play (and on every character) I go to speak to someone for my first quest and the UI disappears and I lose all control over my character. I see other player characters moving around, I just am frozen. I see other a cinematic icon over the heads of player characters speaking to the same NPC I went to, which makes me think that it’s a cutscene related error.

I reduced all my graphic options but no dice.

I run Windows 7
Intel Core i7 CPU
8 GB RAM

I play other games on my laptop with no issue. Skyrim runs beautifully for me with decent graphic settings. If anyone could help me figure this out, I’d be really grateful. I hate that I paid 60 dollars for a game I can’t even play.
