I believe i have the exact same problem. When the game freezes the mouse stops working and the game sound gets strange (almost like a 56k dialup modem). Sometimes the game recovers (significantly slower), sometimes i need to restart the computer (it might not even boot afterwards), sometimes it restarts alone, and the times i manage to close the game, the problem will persist even when the game is closed with episodes of max cpu usage + mouse freeze.
I have already formated the disks and installed a fresh windows copy that has only GW2 installed. I tried nvidia drivers 310.90 and 310.70. The problem still persisted.
I have noticed that this problem happens more often when the chareacter is changing maps and when the map display is open. However it might also happen during normal play.
The problems only started happening recently and have not manifested in any other game.

Ever since i started playing, i have seen Arah’s doors open only today (underworld). I Think this is enough said.
This has to be a considered a bug. The thief’s signature move is the stealth and therefore in no circumstances should lupicus reset due to a player being invisible. Not even if all the players are invisible (there should be a timer in this circumstance) !
This boss is already overpowered as is, especially for thiefs who have zero defense skills or traits. I have spent 6 hours today trying to kill this boss (with different groups) with no success. I even changed my entire gear (full exotic) to have the maximum vitality and toughness. Having more than 1 thief in your party makes this boss almost impossible to kill. At one point this becomes frustrating.
His resets are also like none i have ever seen before. He resets to full health instantly and not gradually like every other creature in the game. This should be fixed. Leaving his range should not trigger a reset either, however i agree that leaving the arena should cause the boss to run back and recover health gradually (not instantly) leading to a potential reset.
