I’ve played since release and never had this problem before now. When I went to visit my parents for the holidays. I’m now stuck on Wifi through a router. I get the black screen instantly after loading screen (which takes way longer than usual) and can only get out with a hard reboot. I’ve tried portforwarding the gw2 ports with the www.portforward.com guide, but it did nothing.
It is interesting though; it seems it’s got something to do with the network. Which to me makes no sense at all. Never had this issue on the same computer with the same speccs before this.
However, my brother still lives with my parents and have been playing guild wars here without problems :-/ HALP!
I’d like to try and disable SPI, but my router won’t let me. It’s an Inteno fg101r2 if anyone’s got the knowhow.

Xaoc was the only guild that impressed me from BT in previous matches. The SFR community have been working hard and we have gotten a lot of new, better commanders since then. People have been getting a lot better at organizing WvW, and I think that is where our strenght lies.
There is a reason guilds have been flocking to us, it’s because we pulled our kitten together and worked hard to improve.
I say we stop kittening about numbers. Yes, they play a huge role in WvW. And the better community will pull more people and organize them well. Getting the numbers is a feat in its own way.
Was having a blast. We seemed to outnumber BT and VS pretty heavily in bt-bl.
Too bad A-net shut it down o.O
