I agree with the poster that said the “reward” is not worth the grind.
Imagine being a level 1 and looking forward to an “Elite spec” at level 80. Imagine finally getting to 80 and finding out you now have to grind ridiculous amount of HP to unlock the “Elite spec”. Imagine finally fully unlocking the “elite spec” and finding out that it is not any better than the same spec you have been grinding with for the past 80+ levels.
Yeah…this system is literally trash.
So we bought kitten expansion to play the same classes we have been playing the past 3 years slightly differently? Not to mention ALL of the expansion content is much harder, basically making the elite spec absolutely trivial as it is just as “strong” as non-elite specs.
So we paid for an expansion to play a slightly different harder game?
$50 expansion HoT is…no thanks.

Anet could’ve said the price of the expansion was $60 and the core game was free….it doesn’t matter how the explain it, $50 expansions are NOT normal for the MMO market.
The only customer Anet is “doing a favor” is new customers.
The fact that the base game is included means your purchase includes a useless account. Paying money for something which includes useless stuff is never okay.
Anyone that spends $99 o an B2P expansion with unknown amount of content that includes “in-game purchases” as part of the price, is the reason why companies keep doing this type of stuff.
Please do not spend $100 on an expansion. Especially if most of that price is used to support the ridiculous gem prices.
Hell, please don’t spend $100 on a NEW game.
Just rolled every other class and tested out their dodge roll and ALL of them are quiet. But, my thief makes that loud “WHOOSH” sound whenever he dodges and it gets rather annoying.
Is this intended to be unique for Thieves? Or were all the dodges silenced, but someone at Anet forgot to silence the Thief dodge?
I know this isn’t a bug, but rather just a side effect of the small UI size, but I’m just bringing to to the attention of people who use the Trading Post a lot. The text is not quit unreadable, but the text isn’t scaling correctly and in turn looks very blurry.
