dose anyone know that: will chain (skill 1 ) be interrupted(reset) if your enemy evade your attack by like dodge?

like if i am attack my enemy with my skill1 and after 2 attack, when iam hit them with my third attack, they evade, and i missed that attack because their evade, will my next attack still be my third chain, or reset to my first chain

i test on the AI, that if i miss that attack becasue i am blind, i will still go with my third attack, but if i am block, i will go back to first chain, but its kinda hard to test evade by using AI, so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, anyone know????

just want use this to help me go against sword thief, like their skill 1 third chain do a lot dmg, even if they did not hit me the first time,(like if i run out of the range or they hit the wrong direction) they have time to use that third chain again before the auto reset, so i am thinking about, i should just stand there and wait their third chain, and dodge it, to let the chain reset,, so yea….

i got some questions in my mind when i play thief in spvp.

i watched a lot of videos like Yishis(he is just cool .all that backstab timing~ ) and EU player like sizer.

and play around 150 matchs in a week try to find the best play style and build, , ,
there is some of my Qs that maybe someone can help me

for now , all the question are about spvp ,or i should say , 1 vs 1 Situation ,

1. why the EU thieves prefer to play S/D, and NAs are more likely D/D or D/P???????????????

2. what is the Advantages and disadvantages of main hand digger and main hand sword????????

3. if a Mind hand sword thief goes against a mind hand digger thief, which one would you say will win ???????????(only opinion and,, some reasons will be good)

i have tried " main hand digger thief" around 100 matchs, find it very good at kill people who dont have heavy armors ?ty to the backstab and HS? but kinda hard to deal with Wars and Guars or heavy AOE builds like engi.

4.why people play “mind hand sword thief” like digger at off hand so much,,,,, but not off and pistol (at least , almost all the videoA from EU tpvps, thieves likely run with S/D not S/P)????????????????

this is the Sword thieves questions now,

because in my 50 matchs of play “main hand sword thief”,, i find myself very strong when ues the off hand pistol with the high DPS of #3 Pistol Whip AND high Survivability from the Pistol Whip’s evade and,,, of course the #5 black power
and i can indeed go after anyone into a 1v1 and have my chance to win even against wars,, necros,, and guras….. so on

but with S/D,, well, cant fright with them that much 1v1 or i will died. i know it is my bad cant timing #3 that will, but man, i just think S/P is better? at least in a 1v1 Situation? what is your opinions~~ or should i know something more~

5.why people hate P/D thieves so much? all they say is that P/D is bad at both 1v1 and team fight???????????????

but i actually find that P/D thieves is very very strong, at least 1v1 Situation against any build but some necros,,,, some rangers,,,,and thieves who play conter codi build.

6. finally questions now, which is best at 1v1, d/p? s/p? p/d?

and which is better in team fight?

builds are most popular ones for each set, for example, s/p may be will go x/30/x/10/30,, d/p may be the same or x/30/30/10/x,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, some thing like this)
and which is better in team fight?)

for now, these three are my favorite. in my mind , they got the follow merits
D/P is good at killing half health people fast,
S/P is good at being a DPS and roaming and able to 1v1 anyone at a point,
P/D is good at kiting wars, Guars, and some thieves while they cant even touch you

and they all have good Survivability,,

as for D/D and S/D , cant survive when i am doing DPS, maybe it’s just because i am a kinda weak theif
