The reason is that they focused on revenant to replace existing characters. They made relevant an only revenant raid. Elementalist is has been.

While in a boss fight 30% or 40 % or protection do not change anything, we have to dodge. And vigor is the only boon on influence for dodge.
Vigor is provided by arcana on critic, or water by switching (tempest trait), however after switching we must wait for 20 s if we were overloading an other element or 10s normally (if not taking arcana trait).

We need vigor on aura and lower overloading cd.

I would like a trait that give vigor while applying an aura. If i dont take arcana, i don’t want to switch water only for vigor.
Need fury with warhorn.
Overload cd is too long

I feel like the need of taking arcana (fire or air /arcana/tempest) is mandatory (
vigor +% on boons + attunement recharge).
The tempest is only for the overload and the stun breaking.

Warhorn:
Lighting orb is a joke, no dps and activation to long
In general warhorn tech must be instant

Shout cd too long and must be instant

Rebound is too weak, only the next lethal blow, must be for the next 5sec

To adopt the same concept as reaper or druid, when overloaded the elementalist merge with its element like a elemntal and provide new set of technique (do not known what).
To access to the overloading state, we have to charge it, and when using a tech, we loose charges (like conjuration).

Our feedback do not interest dev. However on the revenant forum anet reply more frequently.
May be the only reason is to encourage elementalist to play revenant as main, druid for heal, and reaper for dps.

When we see feedback from specialization classes, one of the worst is tempest.

WIthout be a disproportionnal tempest, our techniques are lack luster.
Shout have too long cd and ativation too long
Warhorn is useless, no dps, only giving boones, and activation too long

Druid heal better (He and his group cannot be killed in celestian form)
Pets have better dps (9k without crit in 3s)

We have overload which block switch for 20 sec !!
Animation quality are far bellow scrapper or druid,
shout and warhorn tech are sloooowww.

Lack of Imagination for the tempest concept.

As a french player, i’m sorry for my english.
The overload must benefit from the -20% cd depending on the trait (example aeromancer’s traing for the air).
