any update on this?
I’ve sent pingplotter rounds over via email and further details in that ticket.
I’ve also had my ISP run 24hour tests against the line.
They complain that since they can’t ping the server ip it causes problems with working out the cause of my issues.
So i’m playing piggy in the middle here… the game currently as it stands during peak time is completely unplayable.
I’m getting severe lag ever since just after christmas with bethere isp.
after constant moaning with them, they seem unable or incapable of fixing the problem.
Would be good if you made contact with them to see if the issues can be resolved more efficiently between you both as the game servers ip can’t be pinged making things even more difficult to point out issues.
I have a significantly large thread on the bethere isp forum.
lagging in pve as well, unplayable, delays etc, making it difficult to dodge attacks / time things.
Severe lag in WvW – eternal battlegrounds and others.
1 – 5 second delay, unplayable.
not happened now since i turned sound quality i think down to 50%
Unfortunately, we’re still having problems identifying the root cause of this issue. If there are exact steps you can take to reproduce this bug, please let us know!
On that note, please be sure to keep this thread on topic and only with information related to the “siren” sound bug. If you have other audio bugs to report, please create a separate thread. Thanks, everyone!
Any news on this one Jason? been over 9 days since your last post.
and just happened again.. in WvW
Been having this issue since headstart, never happened in beta and just happened again a hour ago.
i5 2500k @ 4.2 / 16gig mem / nvidia 570 phantom / xonar ds 7.1 soundcard
Only happens in WvW, never happens in PvE. No amount of changing settings etc fixes this, only way is to drop out of gw2 and relaunch which ends up meaning re-queueing into WvW.
