I started playing in December and because so much of this game is not up front with you from the get go, I just discovered how profitable dailies were about 5 days ago. Now they are still as profitable but just more frustrating to do. I wouldn’t say the new stuff is Hard (but then we’ve only seen a fraction of what it is) but none of it is fun, or productive. Discounting the combo one (please never bring that back) the rest are a mixture of tedium and counterproductive gameplay.
Not everyone wants to craft. I hate crafting and always have in every MMO I play. I should not be forced to craft. I understand that the amount you have to craft is near trivial, so then why even include it? I don’t suggest making it harder, or more of a time investment. Until there’s some system that allows crafters to craft and PVE folk to do things that way just leave stuff like this out.
Dodge 10 attacks. Ok, fine. This took a few attempts before I understood exactly when I was supposed to dodge but at first it seemed ok. However once you realize all you need to do is dodge you can “farm” dodges by just getting the same monster to attack you over and over and just dodge and wait for your energy to re-fill. The only problem there is that at some point someone will think they are doing you a favor by pulling this monster off of you and then you have to go find another. Just more frustration when the system should be an “as you go” system.
Reviving allies is a nice thing to encourage in people, however it’s another thing that you basically WANT people to die so that you can rez them. You now have less reason to save people who are about to die. Better for you that they die, THEN you rez them. It’s a bad thing to encourage.
