Reward after a disconnection or client crash

IF someone gets DC as I did 1 sec before Teqautl was killed, PLEASE give the rewards and progress for those players that actually did something when they enter the game again directly after.

We where three that was standing and waiting one hour before the event (only to not enter a overflow). We was at the end of the Teq fight, one seconds before he was killed, we got disconnected from the game server, we entered directly (about 1 seconds), he was dead, and we didn’t got anything at all!!

The same thing happened to me at Teq, at the end of the fight the game crashed (the send report dialog appears). I enter the game as fast as I could, he was dead when I got in after 10 seconds, no rewards, not karma, nothing!

Reserve spot for dissconected players.

This post was the best one EVER!!!

+1

I was with my “guild” the whole day, sanding in hours at the coast to kill the wurms. Couldn’t do anything during the 2 hours (leaving the soon, walk a way from the computer and get back 60 minutes later), more than waiting for the event. The reason was a hard-capped server where my team was. When moving from the server, it was almost impossible to get back with my team.

After spending 2 hours of waiting I got disconnected right before the event started. When I got the Network problem window, I close is and enter game directly (talk about few seconds), and “Tada!” I was in overflow and couldn’t’ join my team.

Please fix this, add a ticket to players, if they are back in game within some seconds, they enter main, or actually the instance they was in before the DC.

ONE MORE THING! IF someone gets DC as I did 1 sec before Teqautl was killed, PLEASE give the rewards and progress for those players that actually did something. I was standing and waiting one hour before the event (this waiting destroys the game). I was at the end, one seconds before he was killed, I got DC, and when I entered directly after, he was dead, and I didn’t got anything at all, but I was there the whole fight and helped the team to kill him.

Wurms tactic

I can agree, if there is not enough ppl it CAN be a fail.

I can’t calculate how many times it can fail until it’s ok within 15 min. But I’m guessing that 15 min at each wurm is a lot of time, and some few fails don’t necessarily affect the end result, of getting them down within 15 min. But I now guessing that the scaling of the wurms HP is based on the ppl around. So the same dps a full zerg does, may be the same with 1/3.

I think it’s durable with one big zerg with no doubt, but I also think there may be more time and more control if they are split up at start and focus on taking down each at the same time. Would be interesting to see how it will goes with splitting up the team, I haven’t heard anyone trying, and if some has, I would like to know the outcome.

Wurms tactic

I see and heard ppl do something like having one big zerg moving around to take a wurms down fast to around 5% or so.

Here is my thought, I may be wrong because how the encounter works, but just help me out.

The there are so many variables that can differ, but let say all wurms has the same HP, all ppl do around the same dmg, and the scaling is based on the ppl at a wurm.

Let us assume one big zerg can take one worm down in 1 minute. Then all need to move, let us say it takes 1 min to move the zerg.

We have something like this:

1 min (1 wurm) + 1 min (move the zerg to next) + 1 min (2 wurm) + 1 min (move the zerg to next) + 1 min (3 wurm) +1 min to move ppl to 3 potions to kill the worms at the same time = 1 + 1 + 1 +1 +1 +1 = 6 min.

Now with placing 1/3 at each wurm from start.

If it takes say 1 min for all to take down one worm, it will takes about 3 times more to take one down if there are 1/3 at each wurm, right?!

So they all go down in 3 minutes, but there is no moving.

3 < 6.

So in a perfect linear scale and balanced, 3 is lesser than 6.

So the fight is about 15 min, so 1/3 of the zerg has about 15 min to take down the wurm, at the end all need to stop and communicate to sync the last 1 min to take them all down.
