i also have an engi and mesmer which both are 80, tho i feel like they arent good for a new pvper either..

I have played off and on since launch and now coming back I have a lot of time to play. The thing is I love pvp in mmos and this game kills me. I play a necro but looking to switch ( cause apperently i can play this class.). I jump in spvp and just get destroyed without being able to touch people at all. im using good build from metabattle and ones i know and i know my class. but icant kill anyone and i die instantly . What do i need to do to get better or understand this games pvp.

wait im confused passives dont work in ds?
i thought they did cause the symbols dont go away

As the title says i need help ive been gone since launch and love the game but now have time to play. I have it down to between ranger or engie for my first 80. I like both playstyles but cant decide! I want a class that you maybe dont see much or a class that can really shine with a good player as i usually end up playing well in pvp in mmos . thanks for the help.

Well the plan for me is pve for the story and wvw later on and to help living so not ele?

Hi I just came back to gw2 after a few month break and plan on lvling my ranger to 80. Currently hes a lowbie as i deleted my old toons wanted to start fresh and didnt really remember where i was o nthem lol. I have always wanted a real guild progression experience and pvp feel with people that get on vent ect. I am pretty active now as i have much more free time outside of work and would love to know if there are any servers willing to take me in. I am not not ot mmos with yrs of experience and tons with high lvl pvp pm me in game please! BTW I AM WEST COAST! pdt i play from around 9am to 3pm then i work untill 10 or so and get back about 11pm and play a little more

10 dom, 10 duel, and i took time warp. also i have tried all combos of weps.

I love my mesmer but at lvl 35 i feel like i might be doing something wrong as my illusions never grab any aggro(are they supposed to to?) and i feel like i have to kite for days to kill anything and even then I have little or no hp at the end of a reg pve fight. I am not new to mmos just new to the gw2 mes, any random advice or thing I should know would be helpful. Also i would tell you what weps and traits i use but I have tried all and it all feels wrong,. GO team and thx.
