The hate toward hero started way back when you couldn’t control the members badmouthing and talking smack against pug commanders or other guilds. I remember well that “superiority” complex a lot of heroes happened to have, how everyone was worse than hero!1! Only way late did you guys start enforcing to stop talking smack but the damage had already been done. Obviously bandwagoning and the fact you left without trying to correct things didn’t help, but it was pretty bad from the get-go. You can only blame yourself for the hate.

Hem, I know Db love drama, but does anyone of you, especially the forum warriors, have ever asked themselves, why all the players that love WvW, all of a sudden decided to leave your Server?

Well…a bunch of guilds came in and helped DB move up in the rankings…but also had trouble dealing with some people when they were trying to command. by this I mean that some of the new guilds tried to push their weight around way too much and demanded respect and others just didn’t like the fit. So after raiding DB up to 4th place some guilds left, which put us at a huge mismatch since we were placed far beyond our capabilities. Around this time I believe people were asking certain guilds to help out with the borderlands but they wouldn’t budge from their seats in ebg.

Add on to this the fact that a certain guild felt like they weren’t appreciated when they would regularly think they were the best, refuse to help anywhere but one map, and Q.Q about how they weren’t appreciated. So they then went along with the trend and left when we were already in bad shape.

So why did so many leave? I believe it is a combination of incoming server transfers not liking it for whatever reason and moving on, and then sticking us in a really bad position so some of our own left as well citing some crap reason and remaining completely clueless as to why they attract hate.

I’ve been on Dragonbrand WvW almost every day since the beta weekend, and I can honestly say I have no idea who [Hero] was, so I’m not understanding the drama.

I don’t remember specifics but “Q.Q” comes to mind for some reason.

What if I told you that it’s not exactly uncommon…

Only had a little bit of time to play last night but I ran into a guardian from SoR just north of hills on DBBL. Just wanted to say that that was a fun skirmish! your theif buddy came in and spiked me but we crossed paths a few times. FA was over there with a few people as well. Hell of a lot of fun for the short time I had. Thanks for the fights, hope to run into you again!

Spectators were kind of an issue for both sides in 1 or 2 of the fights. Was still fun though.

Yea, there was a guy from DB that kinda wandered into the area and asked what was going on. Someone replied that it was GvG while the 2 sides were waiting for the next round and he didn’t know what that meant so he wandered into the fray when it started…he died pretty much instantly and was informed to stay out of the fights. He definitely felt bad about it but it was an innocent mistake.

It was a good fight to watch, kinda disappointed some of the spectators had to be like that but Agg pulled through either way. Props to D|ERP for the match.

I was wondering about this i’ve seen it a few times now MAG and SBI chillin in camps together not fighting not saying anything bad about it just surprised when a thief runs into the other team for safety and doesn’t get attacked

I would hope the 2v1 us, they kinda got put into a crappy matchup, especially SBI. They don’t have the SEA coverage that we have, and frankly it’s not exactly fair.

SBI you guys had an awesome golem rush into inner bay on SBBL this morning! Almost had it too, think DB showed up right before the lord. Keep at it guys!

I was gonna come on and post a thanx to the DB party that battled us SBI’er on DB BL’s last night, on the bridge between Redlake and Hill’s for a good two hours.

Hey guys, I play some WvW from time to time and have to say that I had a great time in T2 with FA and TC. You guys brought a new level of play to what I had been used to. Much respect to both servers for the tenacious fighting on the battlefield. Also much respect to the people who have been noble sportsmen about everything that happened, win or lose.

I wish people would ignore the chest thumpers and trash talkers of all the servers, a handful of people do not, in any way, represent the feelings or views of the entire server. We all have those that wish to run their mouths, please ignore them.

Again, both TC and FA have my utmost respect for the way they played in that bracket. Hope to see you guys again in the future for some white knuckle battles.
