The only thing I can really say is if they really wanted to make GW2 more into an E-Sport. Their gonna have to do some serious re-arranging related to people using gear. Don’t get me wrong, considering I’ve never actually done any of the sPvP or PvP pertaining to GW2. Only thing I’ve actually done has entered WvW several times.
Just based on that area alone they need to make sure everyone has some type of standard gear for any type of competition and class…err Profession. Meaning if say Joe comes in and has all Ascended gear on and say Bob comes in and has maybe one Ascended piece and the rest exotic or even lower. Then Bob would have a dis-advantage then Joe.
Granted if someone isn’t level 80 yet and enters WvW their stats get scaled but their still wearing very low gear. Compared to someone else that has probably been playing the game longer and is all decked out in BIS gear for their class or Profession.
Bump for more Cantha in GW2, personally never experienced GW1: Factions and The Winds of Change side story. Would be nice to see this in the GW2 engine instead of going backwards into the GW1 engine.
Considering the GW2 Thief is a spin-off from the GW1: Factions Assassin. Id prolly try rolling a monk as well if it were added as well.
I know it’s been suggested before but more Cantha and Tengu related items, heck even better yet more items, quests, lore and story for that matter. Basically more of a Japanese theme of items. From the looks of it seems I probably would have liked the Guild Wars Factions since it seems to have some of that type of theme. Since it also ties in with the new Revenant profession due to the story regarding about Shiro.
Granted your artists work hard at what they do but I don’t know if it’s just me but the majority of the items from weapons, armor, etc… all have an aesthetic appearance I don’t really care for. Also I get it from a story aspect from gathering from the wiki that the current invasion has the Cantha region supposedly cutoff.
I imagine it’s probably because I have always had a fascination of Japanese, Oriental and eastern culture.
Considering the item is called Nevermore, All I’m gonna say it seems it was a dev’s cruel idea of a joke that they actually didn’t want anyone collecting it. Or possibly a sick method in which to force people to actually communicate to each other and possibly meet someone. Instead of seeing someone fight a mob and decide to come help kill it then run off after the deed is done without a single word of communication spoken between each player.
I’m not sure what ANET has done now but since that ESL message on the loading screen appeared. I keep getting disconnected from WvW whenever I try to enter combat. Considering for the past 2 weeks I haven’t had any connection problems it just seems weird that all the sudden it starts when they start this twitch ESL stuff.
Got some error code 58
It would be nice if ANET could implement more of the Clothing and wardrobe style based on that timeline period. I know I read somewhere about a Katana skin however I’ve been unlucky any finding anything like a Katana or even a Samurai Sword skin. I know the female Hexen skin recently had the a Chinese Looking hat along with it but the male skin didn’t have it.
Considering I never played the first Guild Wars, it might be nice if they included a short quest line to learn more about him. at least something for the new revenant profession to learn about communing with him.
Would be nice if in-game on the Guild Pane you could search and see all the guilds that are available. Also, would probably be nice to get a feedback forum area for possible suggestions etc…
Best Regards,
