Ive had those kind of messages in game, Idk anyone who hasnt its part of any game with a social aspect. Just report and block, really all you can do, and all you should do. Such idiots are not worth anymore time.
That was my intention as well until I had someone responding as if I offended them, when it turns out it was this player in the map insulting people. So I’m now I’m wondering if this is considered verbal abuse. If not, then I’ll feel better about actually responding to these idiots in kind.
It’s me transcribing what was wrote in the whisper, not directed at anyone, rather for those who cannot see the screenshot for whatever reason.
The person has been blocked, but I am not going to let this go when they continue to harass other players the same. I just want to know if this is considered verbal abuse or not.

Do not engage in personal attacks against forum moderators or ArenaNet staff. You may contact staff directly at forums@arena.net if you wish to discuss a staff member’s decision. Please note that abuse of staff members or moderators in forum posts or private messages may result in forum account termination.

This isn’t discussing actions taken, rather if what was said is actionable. If it’s not, then I’d like to know that so that I can not be so strict in my dealings in game anymore.

The word filter was not circumvented by me, it was transcribed as exactly as written.
I’m not attacking moderators or Anet staff, this is merely an inquiry as to whether what was stated in the whisper considered verbal abuse.

Someone who writes that should be ashamed.
Someone who reposts it on the forums as well.
OP breaks several forum rules and should remove his post, if he doesnt want to risk a forum infraction.
Just block him and move on.
Not breaking any rules, this is not about shaming anyone. This is about whether what was said in the whisper considered verbal abuse. If not, then I’ll not be so strict on what I say to people in game anymore. If it is considered verbal abuse, then how is this player still in the game being allowed to harass people. And the whole block thing works nicely when people are responding to some person insulting them in map and you think they are responding to you, instead it’s the person you blocked.
It’s been edited, and had they been suspended, they wouldn’t have shown up in the game every day since, as I have them on my blocked list and they are online each time I checked it.
