I think that is the problem with most companions, that they tend to pull mobs every time they have the chance to do so. I’m really hoping that this will get a fix as it is very annoying. For now, I switched my Pirate-Runes into Runes of the traveler, which give the same amount of magic find and replace the bird with 5% speed bonus.
Well, you already can teleport to Lions Arch for free more or less…
Just open you hero window, go to the “PvP”-tab and click the “teleport to the heart of the mists”. When you get there, just walk a few steps forward and you are standing in front of a free asura portal to Lions Arch.
You have to run through the PvP tut the first time you travel there, but you can just skip it.
