December 20th Account assigned new key. Still suspended as of 20:30 HRS, EST.

Nothing.
This is growing tiresome and is making me quite angry with Anet and this game as a whole. My wife hasn’t even opened her box-set as we want to play together. Should I just have her return it as I will never get my account back? Even though I legitimately bought it from Amazon.

Players have posted saying they don’t understand why they were suspended for and offensive name or for unacceptable in-game chat. Nearly always, the name or the chat is truly offensive and that is why the account is given a time-out.
Our Support Team does not enjoy blocking people, and does so only when there is a cause.
If you feel the need to complain, please confirm that to this thread. Also, please do not post your offensive name or your crude/unacceptable/racist language in the thread, because that’s just compounding the issue. If you wish to appeal the suspension, file a support ticket. If you want to vent about the suspension, post here (following my requests above, please.)

I understood now what happened with my account. You were kind enough to follow up for me on the 24th, as I actively troll these forums for updates.
Might I inquire if there is a change for restoration/merge/whatever with my old account since I got a new Serial Key?

If that was the case, then why am I still in queue for a stupid suspended account with a new key attached to the account?
But the long wait means i’ll be missing the winterfest event…
I am sure you’ll live. It is only a game event.
Game event is the funnest with friends, since i cant play till the restoration. All my progress before the restoration will be gone.. So no point playing till the account is restored.
Atleast you can play. Some of us can’t play at all!!!!!!!!!

I’m as frustrated as Skinbar and the rest of us who are 2, 3, 4 and 5 day old tickets. Although mine is just 3 days old (Since suspension but was started on the 13th of December, it’s now 10 days old) I’m SOL with a new key attached to my old account and no answers. In 2 days, my wife gets her copy out of the stocking, you get where I’m going with this?
And somehow it’s 3502 and not 3501.
I find this interesting they assist hacked people, and so forth but not new customers who’s cards don’t pass “Fraud Prevention Methods.” Explain to me this. I call:
1-800-869-3557 or 1-800-TO-WELLS (Wells Fargo) and follow the prompts to get a CSR on the phone. She waits with me while I’m in-game after I explain how I can’t buy gems and attempted to do so twice. I try a third time (Mind you this was 3-4 days ago) and says she did not see it hit my account and says it’s the vendor. Says not a thing is wrong with my card and I should contact the vendor. Now, keeping that in mind, two days ago (three tomorrow or in 2.5 hours) I was suspended and refunded because of these “Fraud Prevention Measures”
So, moving to today, I go to Amazon….buy the game….link it to my account….still suspended….
????
This is insane.

This wasn’t working for me. Are you guys using Authenicate.Net or something. Apparently Amazon is/was having issues as well. Or does everyone just hate Wells Fargo cards (Which is why I’m in the predicament I’m in now)
I think they are either AWOL or on Christmas/Holiday Break.

Original Account is Ghostitsx.3501 which is showed it was going to create. then it said “Not so fast…” :P
Ok, So I’ve been patient.
I bought the game, Digital Deluxe. played my heart out for a week. Love this game to death, then suddenly, I’m suspended.
I get zero notification as to why. Turns out, they refunded my payment without notifying me.
Keep in mind, I bank with Wells Fargo. Everything checks out on Bank end, even go ahead and order a new card.
Apparently, reading up, find out if you attempt numerous times to make unsuccessful purchases in-game, your account is flagged for review? Dunno, so whatever, I get refunded and suspended..so I go to Amazon, thinking…Ok, Ill just buy another copy and relink to my account right?
Not so fast! It creates a new account and suspends me (or linked to my suspended account) And it’s been 3 days, no response. I’m irked.
I came here for better results than WoW Crap. I’m getting irked and slowly wishing I didn’t even though I love this game and stuffed my Wife’s stocking with a copy of the game to get her off WoW.
Help?
