Same since my new computer I have played in wvw with 80-100 on screen and fps has not dipped below 30 usually runs much higher. Now I will go from 60 with vert sync down to 12-19 while standing in a keep. or with 10 ppl on screen. I have to close game which does not respond so I soft boot then restart to fix. This has been since the last patch. It amazes me that ANET still does not have a PTS for their testing. Dueling each other to test a patch and test balance issues does not cut it.
You are not alone, the forum is full of ppl including myself that are experiencing, extreme lags, skills that take 10 sec to activate, then all of the skills in the que activating at once, often leaving my toon dead. My guildies see me teleporting all around them and I see others jumping around me. Suddenly finding myself dead at the bottom of a cliff. Then after several minutes of freezing get d/c to character screen with a 7:11 etc error. I also have had my ISP check all my lines replaced my modem, upload and download speeds have actually increased. I have removed any programs running in the background. Increased my ram, had my system checked by my local tech group and am having my company tech guy coming next week to do a final run through. Has been happening for the last week (have been playing since launch) and as far as I can tell there has been very little word from ANET except they think it is their server issue. My FPS does not seem to vary when I d/c. WvW is almost unplayable and forget dungeons, fractals and personal story line.
I have loved this game and love my guild but I am rapidly loosing heart that ANET will fix this. Especially seeing that the d/c issue has been around for months.
I have been having a skill lag also for the last week. My ISP has looked into every aspect of their internet connection and time between crashes has improved significantly but I am still have significant skill lag, in PVE and WvW. This is more than just the lag when you get into a large fight this is a lag and freeze. Finally a post from ANET that they realize the problem and are working on it…. this I can live with. Thank you Ashley for the reponse.
Been having massive lag problems and freeze spikes for the last 2 days. First time since launch that I have had the freezing. Just had my ISP check modem and physical lines, they are all good. Computer is good, no other internet problems so I would say this is a game problem. Worse during prime time, terrible this AM Sunday. Have sent in at least 20 reports, had two white serious error reports. ANET must know they have a problem by now.
Same on NA server.. got D/C 4 times in 2 hours from WvW and 1/2 sec lag between hitting key and skill performing. freezing crashing
There has been complaints about the loot from chests from bosses, jumping puzzles etc. I know that you may not want to put too many exotics in chest loot but how about crafting mats for exotics. They are incredibly difficult to accumulate and some given as chest drops would motivate me to do more jumping puzzles, boss fights etc. by the way my guild is into the idea to…. chest drops of ectos and lodestones would be appreciated.
