Very interesting theory on the anomalies being phased Mursaat! Slowly being drawn out of the Mists by surges of raw magic, perhaps even against their will?

How very convenient to have the egg barrier fail when the Exalted’s preservation magic is supposed to keep dragon minions out. My bet is Lazarus disabled the shield, allowing the destroyers to enter Tarir, and then swooped in to offer help. How could we say no?

Both Mai Trin and Rytlock are now in the Mists, though most probably in very different parts. Mai is supposedly on a mission for Scarlet, and Rytlock has its own quest. Is it possible for these two to stumble upon each other? What if Scarlet’s last order was a some sort of a plan before she completely lost her will to Mordremoth? A plan to help Tyria defeat him? Suppose Rytlock and Mai Trin meet, help each other and return to Tyria together (the Aetherblades certainly seem to have the means to return safely) with some ace in the sleeve. Wishful thinking, obviously, and probably unlikely, but with several NPCs having business in the Mists lately (don’t forget the strange case of Dessa in FotM) it just seems like too much of a coincidence.
What are your thoughts?

So I just had a thought. I don’t know if this has been mentioned by anyone else, but in future LW (S02) updates, I think it would be cool if they contained a player choice element, something similar to the Tower of Nightmares antitoxin injecting that gradually filled the bar. This time, however, instead of waiting for the bar to actually fill, the devs could just not wait for it to happen and if in two weeks the bar would still not be filled, the event would “fail” and this would open an alternative path in the overall story. So each LW update would have 2 alternative outcomes, much like the Gnashblade/Abbadon scenario. What do you think? I realize this would probably mean doubled efforts on the devs’ side, but it would also feel like the story is “alive” and shaped by players.
