Sort of solved the problem. I can’t purchase $100 pack of gems.

Purchasing two $50 packs works however. boggle

I’m getting the same: “X – unfortunately an error has occurred. please try again later!”

Tried PayPal and CC. Get the message with both.

Worked fine on Saturday. Two lays later…no go.

I have a late 2012 Mac mini, 2.3 i7, 16GB RAM, and an Intel 4000 graphics chip with 768 MB video RAM.

I also have a 27" cinema display. I generally play games in a window. Any advice on what other Mac users have found as an optimal screen resolution to balance decent graphics with decent performance? Obviously 2560×1440 will not give me good performance.

Also, any other tweaks that you think might help squeeze more performance out of the mini?

Since paying for the game gives you both versions this is my suggestion to Mac users: forget about this, buy Windows 7 and set up a Windows 7 partition on your Mac (using Bootcamp utility) to experience this game properly and at the full potential of your machine. You also get compatibility with the gigantic Windows games library as a bonus!

I have done exactly that to play games on the Mac. GW2 is running smooth as butter on Windows, with zero freezes or glitches. The only issue is a rare crash to desktop when entering a portal, but jumping back in the game takes less than a minute .

There isn’t a game on this planet amazing enough for me to use Windows. I play what runs in OSX and I’m happy with my decision. Windows not necessary.

Adding my name into the hat also. Purchased the 2000 gem upgrade and the wolf unlocked on all my characters under 30, but not on my characters over 30.
