experiencing similiar issue where creating/disbanding squad doesnt do anything. current workaround is to set command icon to desire status, relog to get the icon turned on/off. it happens randomly and is rather inconvenient. please look into the issue.
it was not a treb. it was cumulative dmg. trebs were built much later after the arrowcarts were destroyed.
edit. this is the image before the previous image. not sure how to paste multiple images so i only pasted the latest one. something did cumulative dmg 1xxx 2xxx … 12xxx in very fast succession.
That’s very strange. I’ll try to keep an eye out to try and figure out what caused that damage. If it was foul play, don’t worry about it, my guild will all be reporting the individual responsible as we don’t want that sort of play anywhere. An unfair (read: illegal/unintended) advantage takes the fun out of the game for everyone.
Thank you for being far more respectful and not accusational to the whole server of “hacking” as some players certainly would. Send me a PM in game if it happens again and I’m around. I’d like to make it so that any talk of “asterisks” surrounding matches or events is left in the past and we can move forward amicably to keep these kinds of occurrences out of the game.
would hope that whoever knew what caused the cumulative dmg to report it to anet and maybe, just maybe.. anet will fix it someday soon. if it could happen to us, it could happen to anyone else and no one likes their hardwork getting screwed over by a bug/exploit.

glicko systems doesn’t seem to be suited in a 3 way contest. its logic is based on 1v1 comparison without interference of a 3rd party. there’s no logic in glicko maths to account for the valid/legal 3rd party interference (playing kingmaker, occasional doubleteaming, taking advantage of weak coverage periods etc) that happens frequently in matches here. perhaps that’s why most competitive sports/games are always a 1 on 1 affair that prohibits 3rd party interference for more accuracy in ratings.
as much as i disagree with using the glicko system for wvw, it’s one of the only systems that is capable of measuring things that are not discrete. unless anet hires some mathematicians or make some drastic changes to wvw matching system, we are likely stuck with glicko system.
