Guild Wars 2

hmm strange.. well i havent touched guild wars 1 since it official launched back then, just vaguely remembering not playing for like 2 years, (was on wow with the rest of the world.. i know naughty me) then came back to gw because i thought it was better.

couldnt log in so i bugged a gm or forum support for it at the time… remember them telling me that the account expired due to lack of activity for a period of 6 months or a year or something like that.. hmm.. maybe it was just me or the account did get hacked in that time and i simply didnt know.

just remember it was something silly..

I was just wondering because this happened to me in guild wars 1…

if you don’t play for a while say a a couple of months because of whatever reason.

does your gw2 account expire?

i remember they did it to me on guild wars 1 and tried to force me to buy a whole new copy of the game which i found a bit unfair.

can anyone clarify this for me please as i’m planning a holiday away from a few months and don’t want to return to find my gw2 account has expired

hope they have changed thier policy on this issue compared to guild wars 1.

hi all, was wondering if anyone can help me. i wanna get a greatsword skin for one of my alts but since she’s a new character just started out she’s still low level.

are the skins transmutable? ie if i apply it to a lvl 10 weapon, can i keep transmuting all the way up to lvl 80?

theres not much point getting a sword skin if it only works once and not for that toons forsee-able playing future right?

be good if anyone could help me answer this.

after reading around so many posts related to all the bugs this most recent patch has brought to us the player base.

Please could someone who actually knows the truth respond to this to let everyone know once and for all what is going on over there.

1. the achievement bug apparently has been fixed but we wont see the repairs done until next build / patch (fair enough???) guess most people are fine with this.

2. the damage caused by the roll back to all the players who have suffered from it? i have yet to see one reply from anyone in arena net to us the players. people spend their time playing this game in order to gain a sense of achievement. to have those achievements stolen from us after we’ve taken them is quite frankly a joke. whether they be achievements, items, gold, whatever.. its just simply not right.

I am speaking on behalf of myself.. but I am also speaking for everyone who has suffered from this so called roll back and ask for those who have suffered just like me to join me in this discussion in order to get the answer we deserve that they are either repairing it and we’l see results eventually or a rightful apology to us with the admittance that they are indeed not interested in restoring what they have broken or are responsible for.

shatter the trust? or restore the faith.. some say its only a game? others think its an experience and they deserve to experience it without problems like these.

hi all i’ve also got this issue. submitted report up to them. missing tonnes of items off one of my characters.

whats the chances they are gonna fix this? or are we to simply suck it up and let them waste our time like this? happily playing along on my way into cof with guild and bang.. kicked out without warning, suddenly patched, back in bang again.. everything in the bags from previous few hours are gone. great….

i hope one of you moderators are reading this and gives us an answer that we your loyal gaming players deserve.
