Stop crying and adapt. Good d/d ele will still destroy everything. Bad d/d ele will die. Just like it should be. These nerfs are putting the class/build inline with the average strengths and weaknesses of all classes. I know how to play d/d ele, and this change doesnt bother me one bit. Because the bottom line is I will still win those 1v2 or 3 situations just like ive been doing for a couple months now, the only change is not being able to run away forever from an obscene amount of ppl. What makes d/d ele great is not rtl, its the combination of boons, high dmg and sustained healing and condition removal, none of which has changed. If you are a d/d ele trying to zerg fight, something it was never meant to do, then u are stupid and u dont deserve to win or live (Learn2staffpls).

There is still a population cap on all servers. Anet has said so, and on JQ at least there are queues for all Wv3 zones.

What Anet says =/= the truth. People always go to the biggest servers. If there was a population cap, then the most populated servers would show full at some point. They dont. I can transfer to JQ any time i want. There hasnt been a full server since the paid transfers were put in place, and why would there be? They charge 1800gems for a transfer to a high population server if they would cap they would deny themselves profit so they didnt. Also, JQ doesnt go outmanned lol, i have a hectic schedule and get to experience all time zones. Like you said, theres queues on every maps, why do u think that is? Barely any queues in other servers, except during really peak times and reset day. This particular week has the patch + JQ going mad over last week’s events, so you see SOR/BG losing in JQ’s ‘weak timezones’. That clearly shows just how overwhelming JQ’s population has become over its tier1 competitors.

Its not the amount of ppl on wvw map at a single time, its the amount of players on server. Before Jan patch there was a maximum amount of habitants per server, now there is none, hence creating hyper stacked servers that have a much bigger pool of players to feed the wvw maps, increasing coverage and manpower etc etc basicly making it realm population based like this other fellow mentioned. And without server caps… ppl just keep rolling into the ‘winning’ servers. I’d be really happy to see actual population numbers just to show how bad its got lol, T1’s pretty screwed over now, dunno bout other tiers, but here its basicly 24/7 full JQ zergs on each map and SOR/BG struggling to cover as best they can. In the end Anet like most gaming companies only has eyes for profit and does not care about balanced competition one bit, once u buy the game and pay them who cares if you quit, and if u wanna switch server well fork over that 20$ or go farm for so long that u might as well just mastercard that kitten, right? Oh wait, free transfer to medium server? Quick lets go to these pve deserts realize it sucks and pay again to get back. I’m gonna stop complaining now and go play an actual fun game thx

From the looks of things this week its pretty kitten obvious now that JQ has 2-3 times more wvw population that SOR/BG, guessing thats all the bandwaggon guilds and players that get into the server due to not having a population cap anymore. Gotta love those 1800gems transfers right? Anet fillin up their pockets while the supposedly ‘top wvw tier’ just goes to kitten. How is it in other tiers? Is there even a point to rankings anymore? I mean, why build a competitive system if you willingly let it become unbalanced for the sake of profits (lol)? WvW is supposed to be the highlight of gw2 and now… such dissapointment.

Oh wells i guess i just do like the 100000000000 zerglings and just transfer to JQ hahaha so i can be a winner too
