There really needs to be a way to convert or pay the difference to buy the ascended equivalent if you already spent PVP or WVW currency to buy either the exotic Triumphant Hero armor or the skin version of the Ardent Glorious.
As someone who’s on the other side of this coin (a high Gold player who’s been placed into matches with top 10 and other high ranked players numerous times the past week), let me tell you, this kind of matchmaking isn’t any more fun for us either. Especially when you have the “pros” screaming at you for not rotating properly and implying you’re intentionally throwing the match.
