Is it viable DH with melee weapons? GS/Hm or GS/Sw+Sh?

I left game like a year ago and returned with HoT launch, playing Revenant since there but I miss my gardian, DH trait line seems cool but I hate range gameplay and I think LB doesnt fit with my idea of what a gardian should be.

As a returning player after 9 months break and with the new stats like ferocity and next patch changes what type of ascended armor would be ok for WvWvW and Bosses?

I´ve been away from GW2 for 9 months. A lot of changes in that time! Have a few questions:
- Is still not viable to change race? Because Im done with the Norn and I would like to create a Human, but I have max level on armorsmith and weaponsmith on my main and got ascended GS and ascended Hammer and would be suicide to lose them.

- I remember a option that you could buy pve lvl with pvp currency earned in tpvp, is still possible to do that? Im not motivate to lvl up a toon to lvl 80 again

- Ranks in WvWvW are still soulbound

And many more questions but this is good for a start.

I’ve started playing my guardian at launch and left game a month or so later (just when dinged 80). Now Im back at game and start doing pvp and mostly WvW, so sorry for the noobish questio, but

What the hell are Applied Fortitude and Guard Leech? Are those guardian’s skills or what?

Is it any option to change race?

I am a Norn guardian and I really hate how heavy armors look on norn chars. Is crazy to rerroll a new human gardian to 80…

I have read his amazing guide but he combines Gs or Hammer with Sw+Focus mostly, so Im not sure if his builds will fit in GS/Hammer build that is what im searching for

Im looking for advice on building my GS/Hammer guardian, oriented on PVE/Fractals. I tried a lot of combinations and builds but sw+f/sw+torch not seems to fit with my playstyle.

I would like any advice about this combination GS/Hammer and it its viable on high end fractals pve

Is it possible to change the appearance of your character? Im not talking about race change, I mean about change face, hair style, face hair, tattoos…
